ST4D Canada, Safran Electronics & Defense's Canadian entity, is currently experiencing strong growth. The company's mission is to continue the development of its GNSS simulation product line, offering turnkey solutions, including portability options and access to multiple satellite constellations, to meet the diverse needs of the market in simulation and testing. In parallel, ST4D Canada is intensifying its efforts to develop the defense market in Canada by leveraging its expertise in optronics, inertial systems, and PNT solutions, strengthening its local partnerships, and offering innovative technologies.
Reporting to the CEO, the Administrative Assistant plays a key role in supporting the company's administrative and operational activities. He/She contributes to the efficiency of daily operations by ensuring rigorous coordination and high-quality administrative support to the management and teams.
Main Responsibilities
- Accompany the CEO in managing his/her schedule, communications, and priorities;
- Participate in the preparation, follow-up, and coordination of files in collaboration with different departments (Operations, HR, etc.);
- Welcome visitors and coordinate the logistical organization of meetings and internal events;
- Manage internal and external communications and, if necessary, write reports and various administrative documents;
- Perform administrative activities related to imports and exports;
- Coordinate the receipt and shipment of packages and pallets;
- Receive, sort, distribute, and manage mail;
- File, archive, and digitize physical and digital documents;
- Manage office supply inventories and place necessary orders;
- Participate in the coordination of the company's activities and events.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position;
- Excellent command of French and English, both spoken and written;
- Good knowledge of office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.);
- Autonomy, dynamism, and a curiosity to learn;
- Discretion and professionalism;
- Sense of organization and ability to manage multiple priorities;
- Knowledge of SAP and Salesforce, an asset.
