Contract Type: Permanent A career as an Associate or Associate Director, Business Integration within the New Products and Activities team of Banque Nationale's Capital Markets involves playing a key role in the implementation of new products and strategic initiatives contributing to business growth. You will lead the evaluation and integration of new OTC products, business activities, and material changes across Capital Markets, ensuring their effective, controlled, and scalable deployment. You will manage low to moderate complexity initiatives autonomously and contribute to more strategic mandates in collaboration with experienced team members. Success in this role hinges on your ability to coordinate stakeholders effectively, exercise sound judgment, and quickly identify risks, issues, and interdependencies.
Your Role
- Lead impact analyses and end-to-end integration of new OTC products, business activities, and material changes across Capital Markets, contributing to the definition of operational and regulatory requirements, risks, controls, and mitigation strategies within a rigorous governance framework.
- Develop a deep understanding of proposed products, transaction structures, and business objectives, and act as a challenge function to validate assumptions and ensure the completeness of requirements.
- Coordinate and align stakeholders end-to-end, including Operations, Technology, Risk Management, Compliance, Legal, Finance, and other control functions, to ensure the achievement and implementation of requirements across all relevant domains.
- Identify dependencies, gaps, and risks, and ensure their timely resolution throughout the lifecycle of initiatives, including escalation to stakeholders and governance forums as necessary.
- Ensure that end-to-end processes, controls, roles, and responsibilities, as well as documentation, are clearly defined, structured, and kept up-to-date.
- Contribute to the prioritization and sequencing of initiatives, as well as the development of target architectures and deployment strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Support delivery teams in the design of solutions, foster cross-functional synergies, and contribute to the overall team performance by sharing your knowledge and supporting the resolution of complex issues.
- Your Team
This position reports to the Senior Vice President responsible for transformation and evolution initiatives within the New Products and Activities team of Capital Markets. Our team consists of approximately 45 highly experienced, talented, and engaged professionals. It is distinguished by its strong collaborative spirit, agility, and deep understanding of capital markets activities and operational models.
You will work closely with negotiation, risk management teams, and functional experts across the organization, gaining a comprehensive view of products, processes, and business strategies. We foster a dynamic environment where learning, innovation, and knowledge sharing are encouraged.

Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field, with 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in capital markets
- Deep knowledge of OTC products (rates, credit, FX, equities, commodities, structured products)
- Experience in coordinating and delivering multidisciplinary initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, with the ability to manage smaller initiatives autonomously and contribute to more complex programs
- Demonstrated ability to identify operational issues, assess their impacts, and resolve them through effective stakeholder engagement and appropriate escalation
- Understanding of the full transaction lifecycle (capture, confirmation, settlement, collateral, valuation, reporting)
- Experience in managing complex initiatives involving multiple stakeholders
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a constantly evolving environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
For the Toronto location only, English proficiency is required. French knowledge is a plus, but not mandatory.
