YOUR TEAM

We are looking for an analyst who will work in concert with key stakeholders and peers to support our powerful networks, collaborate with those who compose them, seize opportunities, and make investments. Reporting to the Chief Portfolio Manager, Portfolio Management (“PM”), Infrastructure and Private Placements, the PM analyst is responsible for providing analytical support to the Private Placements and Infrastructure teams. His/her primary skills and responsibilities are focused on financial analysis and modeling, portfolio reporting, and other value-added activities and projects related to portfolio management.

YOUR ROLE

As a Portfolio Management Analyst, Infrastructure and Private Placements, you will:

  • Provide analytical support to the investment teams, including performance analysis, risk covenant calculations, exposure analysis, and others
  • Support the production of the quarterly portfolio tracking report and other management reports
  • Support data management activities, including data collection and validation, monthly imports, investment creation in iLevel, and liaison with the iLevel Managed Services team
  • Support background checks renewals in collaboration with the compliance team
  • Maintain financial models to help with portfolio construction to support various value-added initiatives
  • Actively participate in any other portfolio project or analysis to support the team's mandate
  • Act as a backup for the other analyst.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or another relevant field
  • Master's degree is an asset
  • CFA, CAIA, or other professional designation is an asset
  • At least one (1) to two (2) year(s) of relevant experience in finance and financial analysis
  • Knowledge of private placements/infrastructure, asset class concepts, and business practices related to alternative asset categories
  • Knowledge of PowerBI, Tableau, and iLevel software is an asset
  • Ability to navigate a rapidly evolving environment with a high degree of autonomy
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, in both English and French
  • Attention to detail and rigorous approach to research, analysis, and documentation
  • Ability to work in a team, cultivate productive relationships with colleagues and clients
  • Willingness to aim for excellence, and developed analytical mindset
  • Ability to adapt flexibly to a change in priorities
  • Bilingual: English and French *(frequent interactions in English with PSP employees based in our Hong Kong, London, and New York offices, and interactions in French with employees in our Montreal and Ottawa offices)*
