Description
Under the supervision of the Human Resources Manager (OHS and training), the HR, OHS Technician will participate in developing and maintaining an OHS culture within Accueil Bonneau. More specifically, he/she will support the Manager in the administration and processing of OHS files. The HR, OHS Technician will also provide administrative support on more general HR files.
- Job Title: HR, OHS Technician
- Department: Human Resources and Volunteer Services
- Status: Part-time, temporary (until January 2027)
- Hours: 3 days between Monday and Friday, (8:00 AM to 4:00 PM) – 21 hours/week
- Wage: Hourly rate of $24.90 to $29.76 depending on experience (collective agreement)
SUPPORT FOR OHS FILES MANAGEMENT
- Participate in the integration of new employees for the OHS aspect;
- Prepare the agenda for the OHS committee, take notes, and follow up with committee members;
- Participate in updating procedures and policies related to health and safety;
- *Participate in various OHS projects:*
- Support the HR Manager in identifying, assessing, and managing risks (job analysis, preventive inspections, etc.);
- Creation and updating of an OHS welcome booklet;
- Update the accident and work incident report tracking table (Excel and Folks);
- Ensure the follow-up of orders and billing for first aid kits and DEA;
SUPPORT FOR HR FILES
- Support the HR Manager in implementing and updating an HRIS (Folks);
- Assist in planning training and follow up with trainers (email invitations and confirmations, welcoming trainers, etc.);
- Process payments and follow up on invoices related to the annual training plan and first aiders;
- Follow up on annual contribution evaluations and remind managers;
- Prepare annual vacation calendars for each department and follow up with managers;
- Maintain various lists (telephone list, first aiders, etc.);
- Prepare displays (OHS, first aiders, etc.);
- Manage the distribution of parking passes (follow up with Société du Vieux-Port and employees);
- Any other related tasks requested by the immediate supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS
- DEC in a relevant field;
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar position;
- Excellent mastery of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and proficiency with data entry software;
- Excellent mastery of spoken and written French;
- Basic knowledge of Quebec regulations in OHS (CNESST, LSST, RSST), an asset;
