Sun Supervisor

Voyages Gendron is currently looking for a Sun Supervisor

The Sun Supervisor will play a key role in supporting the Director of Sun. He or she will actively contribute to the development of sales, the management of Sun department operations, and the customer experience, while performing some advisory and sales tasks.

Job Functions

• Assist the Director of Sun in the daily management of the Sun department;
• Contribute to the development of sales;
• Welcome customers, establish their profile, and analyze their travel needs;
• Advise customers on Sun packages and related products;
• Perform some reservations and purchases (accommodation, flights, transfers, insurance, excursions, etc.);
• Ensure customer file tracking to guarantee quality service;
• Maintain excellent relationships with customers and suppliers;
• Contribute to the development of sales and the achievement of department goals;
• Perform some administrative and billing tasks;
• Participate in the development and improvement of department processes.

Requirements

• College or university degree in tourism (asset);
• 3 to 5 years of experience in sales or the travel industry (important asset);
• Experience in selling and managing Southbound packages;
• Excellent customer service and client relationship skills;
• Experience in coordinating and managing events for corporate groups and weddings (major asset);
• Experience in supervision or coordination;
• Functional English (occasional communications with international customers and suppliers);
• Excellent communication, leadership, and persuasion skills;
• Strong organization, diligence, and autonomy;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite;
• Knowledge of Sirev and PC Voyages (strong asset).

Working Conditions

• Full-time between 37.5 and 40 hours per week;
• Salary to be discussed based on experience;
• Vacation to be discussed;
• Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed;
• Work location: Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, Quebec.
