The Castel is looking for a chef to join its kitchen team. We are seeking a reliable, organized, and passionate individual who can work effectively in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up the necessary arrangements for the smooth operation of services.
• Prepare, cook, and plate dishes according to the recipes and standards of The Castel.
• Ensure the quality, presentation, and consistency of the dishes served.
• Organize and maintain a clean and functional workstation.
• Adhere to food hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards.
• Participate in receiving, storing, and rotating merchandise.
• Minimize waste and ensure proper product management.
• Collaborate with other team members to provide an effective service.
• Participate in various production needs for the restaurant, groups, banquets, and events.
• Perform any other tasks related to the smooth operation of the kitchen.
• Desired Profile
• Professional kitchen experience preferred.
• Good ability to work in a team and under pressure.
• Speed of execution, organization, and attention to detail.
• Punctuality, reliability, and professional attitude.
• Ability to follow recipes, work methods, and established standards.
• Autonomy and willingness to learn.
• Culinary training or equivalent experience, an asset.
