Description
*In collaboration with the general management, the deputy director will be responsible for supporting the administrative management of the facility. This includes human resources, accounting, logistics, and daily operations management. They will play a key role in coordinating administrative activities and maintaining a professional and welcoming environment.* *MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:*
- *Coordinate and implement administrative procedures of the facility to ensure efficient and compliant operations;*
- *Analyze operational data and prepare detailed reports for management to support decision-making and performance tracking;*
- *Plan, organize, and coordinate logistics as well as strategic preparation for renovation work and internal organization of the facility;*
- *Conduct research, compile and analyze data, and prepare documents and reports for review and presentation by management;*
- *Represent management at meetings with stakeholders, partners, and interest groups, and follow up on communications;*
- *Plan, organize, and supervise special activities of the facility in line with organizational goals;*
- *Actively contribute to achieving CPE objectives by tracking performance indicators and participating in continuous process improvement;*
- *Ensure compliance with CPE policies;*
- *Manage, supervise, and support facility staff in accordance with the collective agreement and internal policies;*
- *Manage administrative affairs of the facility and track operations within the allocated budget;*
- *Supervise administrative processes related to human resources, including payroll validation, and act as a resource for staff regarding administrative matters;*
- *Analyze submissions, participate in vendor selection, conclude service contracts with the approval of the general management, and monitor and control their implementation;*
- *Provide support to the team in the absence of the general management and as needed;*
- *Support team management in collaboration with management (recruitment, integration, performance evaluations, absence and leave management);*
- *Handle workplace accident, illness, and disability files;*
- *Any other related tasks.*
- *REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCES:*
- *Hold a college diploma in early childhood education techniques AND a university certificate in a related field;*
- *At least 3 years of experience in personnel and logistics management;*
- *Experience in a unionized environment;*
- *Good proficiency in the Office suite*
- *Knowledge of ACCEO and Outlook software is an asset*
- *Fluent in French, both spoken and written;*
- *Fluent in English, spoken;*
- *Provide a first aid certificate in early childhood and a report of no impediment to work.*
- *Excellent organizational, priority management, and problem-solving skills.*
- *Leadership, diligence, and ability to work in a team.*
- *Kindness, listening skills, autonomy, and ability to take initiative*
- *Knowledge of the Ministry of Family’s Educational Program, laws and the Regulation on Early Childhood Education and Care Services, laws governed by the CNESST, and labor standards.*
- *EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS:*
- *Permanent position, 37.5 hours per week*
- *Salary according to the personnel management salary guide for CPE*
- *Social benefits, including a pension plan and collective insurance*
- Salary: Starting at $28.00 per hour
