Sous-Chef / Sous-Cheffe de Cuisine

As a Sous-Chef / Sous-Cheffe de Cuisine, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our production kitchen, ensuring the quality of meals, team co-management, culinary operations planning, and collective support for our apprentice cooks (approximately 25 participants). Your responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the smooth and efficient daily operations of the kitchen
• Coordinating the setup of frozen meal production (800 - 1000 meals per day)
• Assisting the head chef in organizing work and coordinating various food services
• Managing inventories and refrigerators
• Participating in the development, adjustment, and improvement of recipes
• Maintaining food safety, hygiene, and safety standards
• Collaborating with other services to ensure the success of operations and events
• Services and Events:
• Participating in the preparation and execution of banquets and catering services
• Occasionally delivering and setting up for clients
• Representing the organization professionally at external events
• Your profile:

Formation in culinary arts (academic or corporate)

• Experience: 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in the food service industry (asset)
• Good organizational skills, pedagogy, autonomy, and sense of responsibility
• Ability to manage priorities
• Having a valid driver's license
• Interest in the social mission of BAE and teamwork
• Salary: Starting at $20.77 per hour
