JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Procurement Associate (Indirect Sourcing) to join our growing procurement team in the aerospace sector. This position is ideal for a professional with experience in strategic sourcing, vendor management, contract negotiation, and procurement operations.

You will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of indirect spending categories, including professional services, equipment, facility-related services, and construction, while collaborating closely with internal stakeholders to generate savings, improve vendor performance, and mitigate risks.

*Responsibilities:*

  • Lead end-to-end procurement and sourcing activities (RFP, RFQ, negotiation, contracting)
  • Manage indirect sourcing categories, including:
  • + Professional services
  • + Facilities and maintenance
  • + Equipment and tools
  • + Construction and CAPEX/OPEX projects
  • Develop and implement category strategies to optimize costs, quality, and vendor performance
  • Conduct RFPs, market analyses, and competitive intelligence exercises
  • Negotiate commercial agreements, contracts, and statements of work (SOW)
  • Establish and maintain strong vendor relationships and manage their performance
  • Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Legal, and business units to propose tailored procurement solutions
  • Support the entire Source-to-Pay (S2P) cycle, including systems and documentation
  • Identify cost reduction opportunities, process improvements, and risk mitigation
  • *Qualifications:*
  • University degree in supply chain management, procurement, administration, or related field, OR equivalent experience
  • 3 years or more of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management (indirect experience is an asset)
  • Experience in the manufacturing, industrial, or aerospace sectors (important asset)
  • Demonstrated experience in:
  • + Strategic sourcing and category management
  • + Contract negotiation and vendor management
  • + RFP/RFQ processes and RFPs
  • Ability to manage CAPEX and OPEX procurement projects
  • Strong understanding of procurement best practices and the sourcing cycle (S2P)
  • Experience with procurement systems (SAP, Coupa, Oracle, Ariba, or equivalent) is an asset
  • *Key Skills:*
  • Bilingual: French and English (required)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Results-oriented with strong negotiation and influence skills
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously and in an interfunctional collaboration
