JOB TITLE: HRIS Specialist JOB STATUS: Permanent DEPARTMENT: HRIS, Training and Organizational Development WORK LOCATION: Montreal

You will contribute to the definition of HR directives for HRIS, foster relationships with the HR team, and serve as their main contact for HRIS functional support.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Act as an expert in HRIS and propose suggestions to improve and evolve our systems and processes
  • Participate in the daily data entry activity to ensure that employee information is up-to-date and that quality is maintained
  • Lead and execute system changes, updates, and any other change requests
  • Perform audits and controls to ensure compliance and the integrity of HR data
  • Document all processes, workflows, and related system activities
  • Train new and existing users, following industry best practices and established processes for system use
  • Participate in the development of test strategies, define scenarios, and perform unit, integrated, and regression testing
  • Conduct various analyses, evaluate the impact on current solutions, and optimize system efficiency, taking into account integration with other existing systems
  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for team members and senior management
  • Participate in the implementation of the HR system project and the implementation of all new HR technological tools and solutions

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

  • University degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, HRIS, or a related field
  • Two (2) years of professional experience working with HR systems, reporting tools, processes, and HR policies
  • Previous experience in the HR information systems domain, particularly Dayforce, and in the implementation of these systems, is considered an asset
  • Advanced skills in MS Office, particularly in Excel (formulas, VLookUps, PivotTables, etc.)
  • Attention to detail, analytical, organizational, and time management skills
  • Highly motivated, team player, and dedicated to customer service excellence
  • Must be able to manage highly confidential data
  • Strong communication skills, bilingual - French and English (spoken and written)
  • Active contribution to an HRIS implementation or evolution project (an asset)
  • Availability to travel for work - if necessary
