About Climat

Climat is a firm specializing in the prevention and management of workplace disputes. We support public and private organizations through workplace investigation and assessment mandates, harassment and violence prevention, and training.

As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a rigorous and organized individual with administrative support experience who stands out for their excellent writing skills, analytical abilities, and attention to detail.

Your Role

The successful candidate will be called upon to:

  • attend investigative interviews, take detailed notes, and prepare accurate interview summaries;
  • summarize and synthesize complex testimony and documentation;
  • prepare timelines, factual summaries, and tracking tables;
  • contribute to drafting, reviewing, and formatting reports;
  • draft letters, emails, interview notices, and other professional communications;
  • organize meetings and interviews and ensure that all required follow-ups are completed;
  • support the team in organizing evidence and managing files;
  • contribute to improving the firm’s templates and writing practices.

Qualifications

  • We are seeking an individual who has:
  • relevant education or experience in law, legal or administrative support, writing, editing, or a related field;
  • excellent analytical skills and the ability to synthesize and organize information;
  • advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, including pagination, page layout, styles, section breaks, tables of contents, and Track Changes;
  • the ability to manage multiple files and deadlines simultaneously.

Assets

  • Experience taking notes during interviews, hearings, or meetings;
  • Experience in legal writing, language editing, or report preparation;
  • Experience working in a law firm or professional services firm;
  • Experience preparing timelines or factual summaries.

A short written assessment in French and English, as well as a practical Microsoft Word exercise, may be included in the selection process.

  • After three months of in-office work, the possibility of working remotely up to two days per week;
