Today, we are looking for a Project Coordinator to coordinate and develop the Levering the Barriers for Them project, an initiative aimed at promoting the participation of girls and women who are little or not active in physical activities. You will contribute to the development of the project, mobilize the participants and partners, and ensure its implementation to create a concrete impact in the community.

The project "Levering the Barriers for Them"

In 2026, CCSE Maisonneuve launches "Levering the Barriers for Them," a project funded by the Financial Assistance Program for Community-Based Initiatives (PAFIMC).

This project was selected following a call for projects and marks the launch of a new initiative set to develop over the next few years. You will have the opportunity to participate in its construction and contribute to its evolution.

The project aims to promote regular participation of girls and women who are little or not active in physical activities through:

• Free access to certain regular activities at CCSE Maisonneuve;
• The creation and animation of the Club des F;
• The organization of themed events;
• Meetings fostering exchanges and networking;
• Physical activities allowing the creation of lasting bonds between participants.
• Your main responsibilities

Under the supervision of the deputy director, you will be responsible for the "Levering the Barriers for Them" project from its planning to its deployment on the ground. You will work closely with our internal team and mobilize the participants and partners to develop a unifying project promoting physical activity among girls and women in the community...

Develop the project

• Develop the action plan and ensure the implementation of the project;
• Plan and organize the activities of the Club des F: themed events, networking, free trials, weekly meetings;
• Ensure the logistics necessary for the smooth running of the activities;
• Be a force of proposal to evolve the project and respond to the needs of the participants.

Mobilize the participants and partners

• Promote the participation of the targeted girls and women by the project;
• Develop and maintain partnerships with community, sports, and institutional organizations;
• Welcome, accompany, and support the participants and participate in light animation during activities and events.

Make the project shine

• Collaborate with the communications agent to ensure the promotion and visibility of the project;
• Contribute to the development of the Club des F and the shine of its activities.

Evaluate the results

• Maintain dashboards, participation tracking, statistics, and required indicators;
• Administer satisfaction surveys and compile the data;
• Produce the reports, progress reports, and final report requested by the funder.

Desired profile *Education*

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as communication, animation, and cultural research, community intervention, leisure, culture, or tourism studies, management, or any other related field.

Any equivalent combination of university education and relevant experience in project management will be considered.

*Experience*

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in project coordination or management;
• Experience in partnership development or mobilization of actors in the field (asset);
• Experience in sociocultural animation or physical activities (asset);
• Knowledge of the community or Hochelaga-Maisonneuve neighborhood (asset).
• Working conditions
• Status: Fixed-term employment – Part-time (10 hours/week).

Duration of the mandate: from now until December 18, 2026.

Working hours: Distribution of the 10 hours per week to be determined with the selected person. On-site presence required.

Salary: $25 to $30/hour according to experience and funding.

Start date: As soon as possible.

Compensation: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
