Department Manager - Apparel | Full-Time

As the Department Manager for Apparel, you are the owner of your department's performance — sales results, customer experience, inventory management, and team development. You work closely with store management to achieve and exceed goals while embodying our culture of hospitality, sports passion, and the ambition to always do better.

Drive Department Performance

• Lead performance: Achieve and exceed sales targets. Meeting last year's numbers is not a bonus — it's the expectation.
• Monitor your KPIs daily: conversion, UPT, average transaction value, foot traffic. Identify discrepancies in real-time and adjust, without waiting for the end of the week.
• Maximize sales potential

Lead and Develop Your Team

• Mobilize, motivate, and inspire: Clearly communicate expectations, priorities, and results, and recognize good behavior.
• Coach daily: Develop your team's skills — product knowledge, sales techniques, customer approach — and grow in-house talent.
• Organize work: Collaborate on scheduling based on operational needs, optimize payroll, and handle situations with professionalism.

Maintain High Standards

• Inventory: Rigorous stock management with an organized backstore and daily re-stocking.
• Merchandising and display: Accurate and compliant price tagging, visually appealing presentation.
• Cleanliness and compliance: Clean, organized, and safe store, application of policies and procedures (returns, loss prevention, health and safety, loyalty program).

Embody the Customer Experience

• Active presence on the floor, warm welcome, exceptional service at every touchpoint. Here, the customer is not served — they are welcomed as at home.
• Loyalty program ambassador and resolver of customer situations with professionalism and concrete solutions

• You know how to lead. You have retail experience (2-3 years) and, ideally, a first experience in supervision or team management.
• You are disciplined. You track your numbers, make informed decisions, and manage inventory with discipline.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

• Variable schedule including evenings and weekends, with peaks during high periods (hockey season, series, baseball season).
• Occasional physical work (moving light to moderately heavy objects).
• Availability for occasional travel (buying presentations, training).
