The Railwayparc Hotel is a boutique hotel affiliated with the Hilton brand, located in the heart of the Notre-Dame-de-Grâce neighborhood in Montreal. We are committed to providing exceptional service, an impeccable guest experience, and a work environment focused on excellence. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced general manager to oversee the complete management of the establishment.

The general manager is responsible for the overall management of the hotel. This person ensures the provision of an exceptional guest experience, ensures the profitability of the establishment, leads the teams, and ensures compliance with the quality standards of the Hilton brand.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise all daily operations of the hotel, including reception, housekeeping, maintenance, food and beverage services (as needed), and guest services.
• Maintain a high level of guest satisfaction and provide a luxury hotel experience.
• Recruit, train, motivate, and evaluate managers and team members.
• Manage work schedules and ensure efficient resource planning.
• Develop and manage budgets, financial forecasts, payroll, and operating expenses.
• Analyze performance indicators such as occupancy rate, average daily rate (ADR), revenue per available room (RevPAR), and implement improvement strategies.
• Ensure compliance with Hilton brand standards, company policies, and health and safety regulations.
• Maintain excellent relationships with guests, partners, and suppliers.
• Quickly and efficiently address complaints and special situations.
• Supervise preventive maintenance programs to keep the hotel in pristine condition.
• Identify opportunities to improve operations, service quality, and the profitability of the establishment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in hotel management, including experience as a general manager or assistant general manager.
• Experience within a Hilton-branded establishment is a significant asset.
• Excellent team management and leadership skills.
• Strong financial and budgeting skills.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong customer service and operational excellence orientation.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
• Restaurant experience is an asset.

Requirements

• Bilingualism essential (French and English, both oral and written).
• Legal authorization to work in Canada.
• Proficient use of hotel management systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office suite.
• Professional presentation and constant concern for providing high-end service.

Salary: $100,000 to $150,000 per year
