Project Manager in Communication and Mobilization

The OBV RPNS is seeking a candidate to fill a position of project manager responsible for planning, coordinating, and deploying the communications of the organization, as well as organizing and animating mobilization and consultation activities with the actors and users of the territory.
Under the responsibility of the general director:
Ensure the planning, coordination, and follow-up of the organization's communications:
- Develop and deploy content on social networks and the website, in line with the mission and projects of the OBV RPNS;
- Write newsletters and press releases, and communicate with the various partners of the organization;
- Design communication tools (visuals, capsules, public documents) adapted to the different target audiences;
- Contribute to the quality of the team's written productions by reviewing, correcting, and improving various documents (reports, press releases, web content).
- Organize and animate mobilization and consultation activities:
- Plan and coordinate the organization of events, workshops, and consultation tables;
- Animate meetings with the actors and users of the territory;
- Support the mobilization of stakeholders around the issues related to integrated water management.
Collaborate in the implementation of the OBV RPNS projects
- Participate in the elaboration of communication strategies related to ongoing projects (fight against invasive species, Water Management Plan, educational projects, etc.);
- Collaborate with project managers in the popularization and dissemination of scientific and technical content.
- Collaborate on other projects, meetings, or events organized by the OBV RPNS
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Hold a university degree in communication, environment, sustainable development, or other related fields;
- Minimum two (2) years of relevant professional experience;
- Proficiency in designing visual content and managing social networks (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram);
- Have a good knowledge of water issues and a strong willingness to familiarize themselves with them;
- Demonstrate good capacity for consultation and stakeholder mobilization;
- Possess a sense of analysis, synthesis, and organization;
- Have rigor, versatility, creativity, and a good team spirit;
- Hold a valid driver's license and be autonomous in your travels;
- Mastery of the Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
- Mastery or good knowledge of WordPress and Mailchimp (a plus);
- Familiarity with the functioning of watershed organizations (a plus);
- Excellent French language skills (oral and written);
- English reading, writing, and speaking (a plus).
EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS
- Schedule: 32 hours per week, Monday to Friday – 2 days in person (Mont-Tremblant), the rest remote work
- Salary: Starting at 27.88 $/hour, depending on experience and the current salary policy
- Location: 645 rue du Moulin, suite 1, Mont-Tremblant, J8E 2V1
- Deadline for the competition: August 28, 2026
- Start date: Mid-September 2026
