Senior Technical Advisor – Experience Required

Montplaisir Garage is looking for an experienced senior technical advisor to join its service team.

We are seeking a strong, independent individual recognized for their professionalism, sales skills, and customer service quality. The selected person will also play a reference role for other technical advisors to contribute to the smooth functioning of the department.

Main Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and understand their needs;
• Prepare estimates and clearly explain the recommended work;
• Follow up with clients during repairs;
• Promote preventive maintenance, accessories, and appropriate services;
• Work closely with the dispatcher, technicians, and BDC;
• Ensure rigorous tracking of work orders;
• Ensure customer satisfaction;
• Support and advise other advisors on their cases;
• Actively participate in achieving departmental goals.

Requirements

• Mandatory experience as a technical advisor in the automotive field;
• Solid knowledge of mechanics and service department operations;
• Excellent communication, sales, and customer service skills;
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously;
• Positive leadership, autonomy, and team spirit;
• Good computer skills;
• Knowledge of SERTI / KEYLOOP and experience at a GM dealership considered important assets.
• Only applications with relevant experience as a technical advisor will be considered.
