Telephonist and Dispatcher/Controller

Description

We are a Taxi company looking for candidates for part-time telephonist and dispatcher/controller positions for day, evening, and night shifts in the Rosemont area. We offer mobile leave, sick days, and bonuses for certain shifts. Taxi Coop Montreal has been in the industry for over 40 years.

Main Functions

Receive and process incoming calls from external clients;

Ensure courteous and quick service to customers;

Complete any other related tasks assigned;

Actively participate in training, if needed.

Submit and fill out a report for errors made by taxi drivers, non-compliance with regulations;

Required Qualifications

Excellent understanding of French and ability to speak clearly;

Good understanding of English;

Ability to manage a high volume of calls;

Customer service experience;

Knowledge of the area's streets is an asset (Montreal and surroundings);

Team spirit;

Patience and active listening;

Quick execution and autonomy;

Able to work seated during shifts in front of a computer screen.

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the dispatch supervisor, telephonists are primarily responsible for receiving and processing incoming calls. They must ensure effective response to customer expectations and provide courteous and quick service.

Requirements

• Diploma: DES Completed
• Years of Experience: 0-2 years
• Written Languages: Fr-Advanced, En-Intermediate
• Spoken Languages: Fr-Advanced, En-Intermediate
