The Café Manager is responsible for the daily operations of the café, the quality of customer service, the management of products, and the maintenance of a clean, welcoming, and efficient environment.

Main Responsibilities

• Open and close the café.
• Welcome customers and provide courteous and professional service.
• Prepare and serve coffee, beverages, pastries, and light meals.
• Supervise and support employees during their shifts.
• Schedule and assign tasks.
• Train staff on work methods and establishment standards.
• Manage the cash register, payments, and end-of-day reports.
• Monitor inventories and order necessary products.
• Check the quality, freshness, and presentation of products.
• Minimize losses and ensure good stock rotation.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the counter, kitchen, dining area, and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards.
• Address customer feedback and resolve problematic situations.
• Participate in the development of the menu, promotions, and sales.
• Collaborate with the Auberge’s management.

Desired Profile

• Experience in food service, café, or customer service.
• Experience in management or supervision is considered an asset.
• Leadership, autonomy, and excellent organizational skills.
• Welcoming, dynamic, and professional attitude.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
• Good knowledge of cash handling and computer tools.
• Availability in the morning, weekends, and holidays.
• French required; functional English is considered an asset.
• Salary: $16.60 to $20.00 per hour
