As part of the growth of our Hybrid Cloud & Data (AI, Analytics & Data Services) practice, we are looking for a Junior to Intermediate Data Engineer - Hybrid Cloud & Data to contribute to the development and evolution of modern data solutions.

Under the supervision of experienced Data architects and engineers, the successful candidate will participate in the design, development, and support of data pipelines that enable organizations to leverage their information for analytics, decision-making, and artificial intelligence.

Here's how you'll be involved

• Collaborate with senior Data Engineers, architects, and analytical teams.
• Participate in code reviews and development practices.
• Document the developed solutions.
• Gradually develop expertise in modern Data architecture.

Data Development

• Participate in the development of data pipelines.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT).
• Develop data processing scripts and components.
• Perform data quality validations.
• Troubleshoot issues related to processing and integrations.
• Cloud Data Platforms

Participate in projects using

• Microsoft Azure
• Microsoft Fabric
• Azure Data Factory
• Azure Data Lake Storage
• Azure Databricks
• Power BI
• Azure SQL

Contribute to modern architectures

• Data Lakehouse
• Data Warehouse
• Medallion Architecture
• Data Integration

Your experience

• University or college degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, or related field.
• 1 to 5 years of relevant experience.
• SQL knowledge.
• Python basics.
• Relational database concepts.
• Understanding of ETL/ELT concepts.
• Cloud environment knowledge (asset).
• Power BI or BI tools knowledge (asset).
• Azure Data Services knowledge (asset).

You stand out by your

• Strong interest in data, cloud, and artificial intelligence.
• Technological curiosity and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Bilingualism in French and English, as you will be collaborating with resources outside Quebec.
