Your daily responsibilities
Electrical Workshop Team Lead
What we are looking for, requirements
- A. Operations management (flow, materials, production, and compliance)
- Is the technical expert and reference of the electrical workshop.
- Ensures the availability of electrical components, materials, tools, and plans necessary for the completion of work.
- Works with the team to prevent material shortages, preparation errors, or any situation that could slow down production.
- Coordinates production priorities according to the production schedule established by the supervisor.
- Ensures that electrical panels in production and finished products are correctly identified and located.
- Ensures the smooth flow of operations between preparation, wiring, testing, corrections, and delivery.
- B. Leadership (attitude, example, proactivity, and solution-oriented)
- With the team, ensures the rapid detection of technical or operational problems.
- Involves the team in the continuous improvement of work methods, organization, ergonomics, and efficiency.
- Ensures good team synergy.
- Adopts a positive, mobilizing, and solution-oriented attitude.
- Promotes collaboration with other departments.
C. Performance (team productivity and efficiency)
- Ensures compliance with priorities established by the supervisor.
- Coordinates daily activities to ensure an effective flow of work.
- Tracks the progress of panels in production and intervenes quickly when a critical issue threatens delivery deadlines.
- Ensures compliance with standard times and identifies opportunities for improvement.
- Ensures the quality of work and compliance with electrical standards, drawings, and manufacturing procedures.
- Supports the team in testing, energization, and resolution of non-conformities when required.
- Actively contributes to the improvement of productivity, quality, and delivery times in the department.
D. Team management
- Coordinates work assignment.
- Participates in the quality system and ensures compliance with quality standards.
- Performs first-level checks on the conformity of assemblies or shipping preparations.
- Collaborates with the quality team lead during inspections or non-conformities.
- Ensures that tools, equipment, and workstations are functional and well-maintained.
- Facilitates communication between shifts when required.
- Ensures communication between the team and other company members.
- Promotes the values and principles promoted within the company.
- Promotes workplace health and safety and ensures its application.
- Trains and supports new employees on work methods.
- Monitors attendance, punctuality, and workplace behavior and refers to the concerned parties if necessary.
- Participates in active supervision tours.
- Participates in the continuous improvement of the department.
