Our client, DRB Distribution, is a well-established company in Sainte-Claire for over 45 years. To support its growth, we are seeking a Human Resources Advisor – International Recruitment to join the existing team. This is a permanent position offering a varied, concrete, and strategic role.
Under the direction of the Human Resources Director, the successful candidate will actively contribute to various HR initiatives and play a key role with managers and employees.
A significant portion of the role (approximately 40%) is dedicated to international recruitment and the management of associated files, making it an ideal opportunity for a meticulous, organized individual interested in this specialized aspect of human resources.

Your contribution in a non-unionized environment
- Serve as a resource person for employees on human resources-related questions
- Advise managers on the interpretation and application of labor laws and internal policies
- Follow up on absence, disability, and workplace accident files (CNESST), in collaboration with managers and various stakeholders
- International recruitment component (approximately 40% of the role):
- Manage the international recruitment process, from posting to integration
- Ensure complete management of immigration files and tracking of work permits (obtaining, renewal, compliance)
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for hiring foreign workers
- Coordinate procedures related to the accommodation and establishment of workers (housing, lease management, administrative support)
- Serve as a point of contact for international employees to facilitate their integration and retention
Other responsibilities
- Participate in local recruitment processes and the integration of new employees
- Perform transactions and update employee files in various HR platforms
- Participate in the administration of HR programs (collective insurance, pension plan, benefits, etc.)
- Maintain a watch on best practices and HR trends
- Contribute to the employer brand
- Participate in the continuous improvement of HR processes, tools, and practices
Desired profile
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience or strong interest in international recruitment and immigration file management
- High level of rigor, organization, and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously in a structured and regulated context
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and results-driven approach
- Autonomy and sense of responsibility
- Good teamwork skills
- Excellent relational and writing skills
- Knowledge of an ATS and HRIS (asset)
- Member of the CRHA/CRIA Order (asset)
