Saint-Henri micro-torrefacteur was the first micro-torrefacteur in Quebec, in 2011, to roast specialty coffee microlots purchased directly from the source, and this, in complete transparency. 10 years later, Café Saint-Henri is recognized as an institution in the coffee industry in Quebec. With its 8 locations in Montreal, two in Quebec City, Café Saint-Henri is 80 employees, a roasting plant and a vast distribution network.
We are looking for a motivated person to join our passionate team.
The branch manager supervises and coordinates the operations of the two Quebec City locations, ensuring that sales targets are met and company standards are respected. He provides continuous support and coaching to the branch team to maintain high performance, and ensures that all directives and strategies from headquarters are implemented.
The daily tasks of the branch manager
- Manage the daily operations of the café, including opening, closing, scheduling, and customer issue management.
- Supervise the barista team, ensuring that company standards are met.
- Ensure the quality of service and customer experience.
- Manage inventory and supplies on a weekly basis to maintain adequate product levels.
- Perform end-of-day report verification and deposit reconciliation.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve financial objectives.
- Collaborate with the team to create seasonal beverage recipes.
- Control costs and maximize profits (loss prevention, labor costs, etc.).
- Maintain product quality standards.
- Promote a positive work environment and comply with hygiene (MAPAQ) and safety standards.
- Implement the branch's marketing strategy and comply with brand directives.
- Develop and implement a strategy to increase traffic, adapted to the reality of the branch.
- Provide regular coaching to the team regarding customer service, new sales techniques, or beverage preparation techniques.
- Share knowledge about the coffee universe with customers.
- Motivate the team to achieve sales and profitability goals.
- Participate in training offered to managers, as well as monthly management meetings.
- Keep the team informed of news and upcoming launches.
- Perform recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
Desired profile
- You have 3 to 5 years of experience in management;
- Knowledge of the coffee industry (mandatory);
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and quickly resolve problems.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Bilingual
