Summary of Responsibilities

The Role?

You will act as the business leader of your own sector. You will oversee operations, sales, and growth projects, with a true 360-degree view of the business unit.

The Mandate?

Stabilize, structure, and grow the organization. You will be called upon to optimize operational performance by ensuring quality, cost control, and continuous process improvement. You will contribute to structuring growth by implementing effective commercial strategies, while supporting on-the-ground managers in achieving their operational objectives. Finally, you will actively participate in the development of innovative solutions and added-value products to support the company's evolution.

Expected Impact in the First Year?

Implement effective management practices, improve operational performance and quality. Develop a more structured commercial process and develop dashboards linking operations, margins, SSE, sales, and talent.

What Will Your Day-to-Day Look Like?

Strategy and Development

Define, adjust, and deploy the growth strategy (markets, positioning, investments, and commercial priorities).

Evaluate internal performance and establish action plans aligned with organizational capabilities.

Monitor market trends, competition, customer needs, and innovation opportunities.

Operations, Quality, and Field Performance

Oversee all operations: production, quality, logistics, maintenance, and processes.

Deploy management routines: KPIs, operational meetings, action plans, post-mortem project follow-ups, deviation tracking, and problem resolution.

Professionalize the handling of non-conformities, critical procedures, technical training, and quality standards.

Finance, Margins, and Resources

Monitor margins, unit costs, budgets, CAPEX, and investment priorities.

Optimize the use of human resources, equipment, raw materials, and production capacity across different sites.

Leadership and Culture

Mobilize teams around a common, clear, and human vision.

Support managers, clarify roles, support succession, and optimize talent.

Maintain a culture focused on collaboration, accountability, and efficiency.

Clients, Partnerships, and Branding

Represent the company to clients, partners, and suppliers.

Develop strategic alliances and technological or commercial partnerships.

Compliance, SSE, and ESG

Ensure compliance with health and safety, quality, environmental, regulatory, and internal process and policy standards.

Integrate ESG objectives into operational decisions: GHG reduction, recycling, decarbonation, and responsible innovation.

Key Skills

What Do You Need?

Significant experience in directing industrial, manufacturing, and/or construction sector operations.

Ability to transform a business unit: stabilize, structure, measure, and deliver results.

Strong financial management skills.

Strong leadership, field presence, managerial courage, proximity to various teams, and ability to mobilize.

Strong customer orientation and commercial development.

Sense of innovation and interest in specialized products, technical quality, and sustainable solutions.

University degree in civil engineering, industrial management, or administration.

In-depth knowledge of concrete processes (precast, ready-mix, formwork, etc.).
