Reporting to the Director - Airport Strategy and Development, the person in this role ensures centralized management of airport development-related programs, supporting numerous files involving several key drivers. The position establishes a single reliable source of information for commitments, risks, and activities, while enabling rigorous governance, implementation, and tracking. The selected individual ensures rapid hierarchical decision-making and acts as a key integrator between airport authorities, internal stakeholders, and senior management, to strengthen cohesion, execution reliability, and external credibility.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain a single reliable source of information for all airport authority missions, initiatives, risks, and commitments.
- Coordinate and plan regular mobilization meetings with airport authorities and internal stakeholders, within a defined governance model. Actively participate in these meetings.
- Maintain an overview of initiatives across key drivers, ensuring consistency among major airports.
- Track actions, decisions, commitments, and interdependencies across multiple airports and workflows.
- Monitor progress in meetings and governance forums and ensure rigorous implementation.
- Proactively identify and flag risks or issues requiring senior management attention.
- Support hierarchical decision-making by providing structured and concise information to senior management.
- Develop and maintain integrated reporting tools and dashboards to ensure visibility of files.
- Ensure message consistency and stakeholder alignment across all missions.
- Serve as the primary resource for coordination with senior management, internal partners, and executives.
- Support the preparation of information documents and reports for senior management.
- Promote rigor and process normalization regarding the tracking and management of airport missions.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, transparency, and coordination within the function.
- Support the integration of external program management support (where applicable).
- Contribute to strengthening the governance pace and operational model maturity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, planning, or a related field.
- Minimum of five to eight years of experience in program management, general management consulting, strategy, operations, or infrastructure roles.
- Experience in managing complex files involving multiple stakeholders and governance forums, with strong coordination, reporting, and execution skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills (bilingualism in French and English required).
- High level of communication skills and proficiency in PowerPoint.
- Analytical thinking and strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to drive structure, governance, and execution discipline.
- Ability to work effectively with senior management and external stakeholders.
- Aviation experience, an asset.
- Demonstrate punctuality and dependability to support overall team success in a fast-paced environment.
- Employment Conditions:
Candidates must be admissible to work in the country at the time an offer of employment is made and are responsible for obtaining the necessary work permits, visas, or other authorizations. Proof of admissibility must be provided before the start date.
