As an Advisor, Strategic Procurement, Professional and Insurance Services, you contribute to agreements with Desjardins Movement partners aiming to acquire professional services for the organization's needs. This role may cover one or more sub-specialties, such as strategic procurement, acquisition of goods and services, contract and partnership management, managed services governance, or supplier governance. You provide advisory and support to dedicated clients and partners within the framework of projects, mandates, and significant development activities in your field of expertise. You propose improvements or optimizations to standards, policies, and programs. The nature of the files and projects requires extensive knowledge in your field of expertise. You develop recommendations, solutions, and action plans according to the organization's guidelines and objectives. You contribute to solving complex problems, requiring in-depth analysis and knowledge of the business domain. Coordination is frequent, and you are called upon to interact with various stakeholders operating in complementary areas of expertise. You act as a liaison with external partners or suppliers and participate in establishing partnerships or business relationships. More specifically, you will be involved in:
- Leading end-to-end procurement processes for professional services, from identifying needs to awarding contracts, for mandates of low to moderate complexity.
- Analyzing business partners' needs and contributing to the development of procurement strategies adapted to objectives, timelines, and business context.
- Taking charge of procurement processes, whether through requests for information (RFI), requests for proposals (RFP), or negotiations, ensuring stakeholder coordination, documentation preparation, and timeline adherence.
- Analyzing received proposals, performing required comparative and financial analyses, and formulating recommendations to support decision-making.
- Negotiating, implementing, and following up on contractual agreements under your responsibility, including renewals and amendments, in response to clients' and the organization's needs.
- Contributing to identifying and evaluating risks related to suppliers and contractual agreements and participating in implementing appropriate mitigation measures.
- Applying procurement policies, processes, and best practices and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in the sector.
- Developing and maintaining collaborative business relationships with internal partners and suppliers within the framework of your mandates.
- Acting as a resource person for your files and contributing to projects, committees, or work activities related to your area of expertise.

What you bring to the table
- Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline
- At least two years of relevant experience in strategic procurement, contract management, or a related field
- Please note that other combinations of education and relevant experience may be considered
- Knowledge of French is required
- Advanced intermediate English proficiency due to the nature of tasks, work tools, or interactions with English-speaking partners, members, or clients
