Packaging Team Lead

IML LABELS, an industrial company specializing in printing labels on polypropylene, is looking for a Packaging Team Lead.

Main Role

The Packaging Team Lead ensures the daily coordination of department operations, ensuring the availability of resources, compliance with procedures, and the quality of work performed. They also play a key role in developing team skills, on-site support, and continuous employee training.

Operational Responsibilities *Planning and Organization*

• Print schedules and plan the day based on production hours.
• Organize stacks on the floor and ensure optimal production flow.
• Assign team members according to operational needs, skills, and required rotations.
• Prepare the new box setup sheet.
• Check the availability and compliance of required templates and boxes.
• *Daily Operations Management*
• Ensure the cleanliness, safety, and compliance of the department (application of safety rules, maintenance of 5S).
• Validate final calculations and apply double signatures when required.
• Assist in start-ups (Kawahara) and ensure that interventions are well understood by the team.
• Validate cleanups and confirm compliance with line clearance (SDA) between jobs.
• Perform necessary corrections via Sage on quantities and changes in quantity per box (X3).
• Leadership, Support, and Training
• *Support, Coaching, and Skill Development*
• Observe team work and provide constant support, both preventive and corrective.
• Train new employees and continuously develop current employees.
• Promote best practices, work quality, and rigorous procedure compliance.
• Offer personalized coaching to improve efficiency, versatility, and understanding of operations.
• Encourage and maintain a positive attitude, team spirit, and a collaborative work environment.
• *Disciplinary Supervision*
• Issue warnings, if necessary, in collaboration with the supervisor, in accordance with internal procedures.
• Report any issues requiring more formal disciplinary follow-up to the supervisor.
• Production Replacement
• When the Team Lead must work directly in production:
• Set an example by following procedures and best practices.
• Produce according to quality and productivity standards.

In these situations, the supervisor handles the administrative and organizational tasks of the Team Lead.

Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday: 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM
• Friday: 6:30 AM to 12:30 PM
